Turn it Off

Turn off your TV. If you can’t go a day without TV or streaming, there is a problem. Trust me. I know it doesn’t seem easy; after all, my degree is in TV/Cinema. I used to watch TV all the time.

Today, I look back on it and regret so much that I have watched. I’m embarrassed by a lot of it, and really disappointed in myself. Now, I don’t think TV is bad, but like a lot of things, too much of it is bad for you.

“Well, I only watch the news…” Friend, many would say the news is just as bad or even worse. All I know is, the more news I watch the less positive anything seems. So, what do I need to do? Turn it off.

Frustrated with your spouse or kids? Feeling extra anxious? Feeling down and out? How much TV do you watch? Who do you talk to? Those are the questions I’d ask. Don’t be like me. Here I am, 31 years old, and repenting and asking God for forgiveness for what I’ve allowed my body and most importantly my spirit to take in.

Take my advice, just turn it off.
