How is my Sabbath Rest?
Well it’s not quite the best.
I don’t have enough time, you see
For both God and me.
There are some obstacles that get in the way
Things come up during the day
With work being priority
There’s not much time for God and me.
Things get in the way when I’m trying to help others
So obviously I don’t bother.
And I can’t have a relationship with me
There’s too much bitterness I won’t free.
There is this barrier called Sin.
It’s been there since God knows when
So what’s the answer to this barrier I’ve placed?
The truth that Jesus on the cross took my place.
