God is a Healer. There is no doubt in my mind about that. I would find it hard to believe that God could do all that He has done, and not be able to heal a person. It just doesn’t make sense.
It’s hard to see people sick. It just is. It will always be, especially when we see people who we have always looked up to or seen as being strong. But we all are only human. There’s only so much our bodies can take. And there’s only so long that we have.
I think what’s really hard is when we pray for healing, knowing that it might not come in the form that we want it to. It’s very easy for us to pray that God will heal someone when they’re in the hospital. However, the prayer is a little different when we pray that God will heal them when and where He sees fit.
Healing is all about trusting God. But more than that, it’s about trusting Him to work things out the way He will be most glorified and honored, because you know that He knows what’s best. Healing isn’t limited to here on earth. Healing can come in Heaven or on Earth.
Remember, healing on earth is temporary. Healing in Heaven, that’s eternal.
