Perish to Present

The disciples didn’t know just how much Jesus cared. Did they?

“Master carest not that we perish?” (Mark 4:38) I can’t imagine what Jesus was thinking when he was posed with that question, over a storm at that?

Perhaps he thought, you have no idea how much I care. It’s out of this world how much I love and care.

“For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The answer to their question was alive in their presence. The Master cared so much that He was present with them.

The Master still cares so much that He is present with you. You can ask Him the same question. And the same truth that belonged to the disciples is yours too.

He cared so much, and He cares so much that He is present.
