It’s never any coincidence that when I spend more time with God I have a better day. There is no surprise that that’s how things go. Every single time. My life is significantly better when I spend a significant amount of time with Him.
What is a surprise is the fact that I know that and still don’t spend more time doing it. It’s quite simple really. The more time I spend with God the happier I am. The more time I spend with God the wiser I become. The more time I spend with God the better I am.
It’s not rocket science. It’s not even close. It’s just a fact. It’s an honor that God would even allow me to spend any time with Him. Who am I that God would think of me? But He does. Nonstop actually.
A mere second in His presence is more than I deserve. So when I can spend minutes or hours with Him, why do I even bother to create options?
Psalm 8:3-4
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
