You know, one of my favorite verses in the Bible is John 9:25.
“I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!”
I love the boldness of this statement. It’s simple and to the point. He’s saying I don’t know all that other stuff, but what I do know is that He healed me. He touched me and changed my life for the better. Jesus changed my life.
As a Christian, I think that sometimes we get so lost in the “complexities” that we create in our Christian lives, that we miss the simple truths of the process. God’s ways are far beyond ours and we will forever be “wowed” by Him. But being in awe of Him is not meant to replace the beauty of simplicity.
Sometimes we have to step back from everything and say,”I don’t really know what’s going on with the world. I don’t really know what’s happening, but what I do know is that Jesus has touched my life and I haven’t been the same since. It’s just that simple.”
Take a minute to think about how simply beautiful it is that Jesus touched your life and changed it completely.
