Explain It

I’m not sure how people can believe there is no God. As I look out the window of the airplane I’m surrounded by numerous reminders of His existence.

How do you explain the clouds and the sky? How can you explain the ocean I’m flying safely over right now? How can we explain the separation between land, water, and sky other than God?

Who could have given man the ability to build something that could ride on land, float on water, and fly in the sky?

The problem with the atheist is that he gives man way too much credit. I can’t do this stuff. I can’t create what God has. Our minds can’t process anything without God giving it the ability to. I think that’s what bothers me the most about atheists. You know man couldn’t have made the clouds we see and the dynamics of the universe.

For believers, I think sometimes we forget how awesome and intricate the details of God and His creations are. We forget that He made all of this. We get so caught up in stuff, that we forget to embrace what we have always known God to do and create.

Looking out into the sky on my flight back from Jamaica and thinking about all these things, I was reminded of what my Gammy would always say, “God is God and we are not.” Thank God!

Romans 1:20 (NLT)

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
