Did you know that God wants to spend time with you? Like, right now, God wants to spend time with you. He wants to spend time loving you. He wants to spend time speaking His truth into you and over you. He wants to spend time revealing things to you. He just wants you.
I know for a lot of people, following Jesus makes no sense. They deem it ignorant or foolish. I wonder if it’s because it’s so hard to conceive of anyone wanting us, let alone the Almighty God. Today, in the privacy of your home, ask Him. Personally ask God if He’s there and see what He says to you.
Those of us who say we know God, do we really know Him? Not of Him, do we know Him? Because it’s one thing to be an unbeliever and not know God or care, it’s quite another thing to claim to know God, but not really.
God wants to spend time with you. He wants you to want to spend time with Him—getting to know Him and loving Him. Will you? Right now, God wants to spend time with you. What are you going to do about that?
