I got caught
But he did not
Embarrassed could hardly describe
I was considered disgusting, I was despised.
The leaders caught me
They put me on display for all to see
“Jesus, the Law of Moses says to stone her, what about You?”
Jesus wrote in the sand, I didn’t know what He would do.
They demanded an answer from Him
OK, but stone her only if you have never sinned.
And as He stooped down and wrote in the dust
No one was left with a stone to thrust.
Where are your accusers, did not one condemn you?
No Lord, this is true.
Neither do I. Go and sin no more.
And that was when I experienced forgiveness right in my core.
