Today is World Poetry Day
And unfortunately, I have nothing to say.
So hopefully by the end of this playing song
I’ll say something right, not wrong
I’ve got less than four minutes now
To say something meaningful somehow
So here goes
This will keep me on my toes.
I enjoy poetry
It can make you feel free
No correct grammar needed
It’s however the author wants you to read it.
No commas here
No punctuation there
Run that sentence on
Make it your own.
Self-expression at it’s best
This project put me to the test
