WordPress Anniversary

Well, since it’s my anniversary with WordPress, I figure I should press the keys on my laptop a bit. I’ll keep it short. Mainly because I don’t know what I’m about to say.

I enjoy writing. I enjoy seeing people read what I write. I enjoy when people comment that they enjoyed what I wrote. I enjoy when people share what I wrote. I enjoy having new followers. I enjoy the likes. Those stars at the bottom of my articles make me happy. I appreciate your support.

But there was a whole lot of I in the above paragraph. Wasn’t it?

I remember the reason I started this blog. I started off blogging because I wanted to keep up with my writings (it just seemed easier). I wanted to honor God in my writing as well. And people always said you should write a book or something. So I did both.

The point I’m getting at is that I never want to forget why I started. The most important reason I do anything is to honor God. And I just want to take this anniversary post opportunity to remind myself that the only like that matters is the one by the One who created stars.
