Jesus was beaten, punched, whipped, and spat on.
And with his broken flesh, He was forced to place a heavy cross on His back.
And as if the wood pressing upon His raw, bruised bloody flesh wasn’t enough.
He had to carry His cross up a hill.
A cross that HE was to be nailed to for me.
