What would Jesus do? Wasn’t that a big phenomenon, what, about 20 years ago? Actually, I still wear my bracelet. Been wearing it since about the 5th grade actually.

It’s interesting. That bracelet has helped me stay away from some things. Whe

n you feel like you need to take your bracelet off before you do something, chances are that you shouldn’t be doing whatever that is. And if you can think to take it off, surely you can think and succeed in stopping whatever it is.

But some people say they don’t know what Jesus would do. Well, I think the bigger idea is to know what Jesus wouldn’t do. Because if you know that Jesus wouldn’t do whatever it is you’re considering, then you know not to do it.

And when in doubt about what Jesus would do, I can say I know that He would love. So whatever doesn’t look like pure, selfless love, isn’t what Jesus would do. What would really Jesus do? He would do whatever is the most loving, unselfish thing to do.

John 13:34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
