Give nothing for your peace.God is known as Jehovah-Shalom (Forgive misspellings or word usage, research spellings and words for God of the Israelites. I read that they believed His name was so holy that it couldn’t be fully spelled out, YHWH). The LORD is Peace, is what our language translates Jehovah-Shalom into. Peace is also a Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Therefore, God of course wants you to have peace, but most importantly know Him as Peace.
Nothing is worth your peace, because despite popular belief peace can be present during hard times. There can be peace during the pandemic, calm during the chaos, and silence during the storm. How? Because the Peace of God, the Peace from God, the Peace that is God, is non-circumstantial.
Nothing is worth your peace, and that includes your peace of mind as well. Peace of mind that is possible through God’s wisdom and guidance in your life and decisions.
