One day at a time.
In other words, stop trying to get ahead of me. You want to know every little thing and every little move I make. Chill.
Chanel, you can only go one day at a time. That’s all you can do. I’m not limited to days or times. I’m ahead of the game.
So what you’re going to do is take your job one day at a time. What you are going to do is take your relationship one day at a time. You are going to take your life one day at a time.
I am working on your behalf. So you sit tight. And when you “catch up” your jaw will drop.
I can’t wait for my jaw to drop. I can’t wait for it to drop so much that there’s no point in picking it up. I do get ahead of the game. I do try to make plans for God’s plans. And the issue is that my plans should be whatever His are, not some kind of back up plans for in case His fall through. They don’t and they won’t.
One day at a time is all that God asks me to live. Why not enjoy it?
