You know, we have to get in a habit of letting God know that we know He’s got our back. And not just our back, but our front and sides too. He needs to know that we believe He has it all under control. That if we step out of our homes and nothing goes our way, He is still God. And nothing is going our way, right with Him at our side. And He needs to know that if things that we could have never even imagined go our way, He is still God.
When I step out of my house, I am a Child of God. My sins, all of my sins, are completely forgiven. Eternity is my final destination. God is not only with me and beside me, but He is in front of me and behind me. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego weren’t in the fire alone, were they (Daniel 3:24-26)? There is nothing that I am stepping into that God can’t bring me out of and there’s nothing that I’m stepping into that God would have me go into alone.
When I step out of this home, God, I’m just stepping further into You. And there’s nothing that can happen that You won’t be there for, there’s nothing that can happen that You won’t use. So I thank You God, that I am stepping high all because of You.
