2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
I got to thinking about this today. How many angels did God send to help me that I shunned away? How many times was God sending me the help or encouragement I had been praying for, but I sent them away?
How often have we done this? How many times do you think God has sent a Holy Helper to us, but we were too unholy for him to stick around?
It makes me ashamed. I know that I’ve been less than holy on several occasions, and I’m sad to think that God was sending what I needed or maybe even wanted, but I was too messy to notice.
How many angels did I mistreat, I wonder?
