Prayer is one of the most important things in life. It’s completely necessary. It’s automatic access to our Creator. That’s a huge blessing.
Think about it. I could never just contact the president or Oprah or someone famous. Heck, we can hardly just call up family or friends sometimes. But we can immediately call to our Creator. Isn’t that something?!
Prayer is special. It is time to talk AND listen to God. But for some reason, we just don’t carve out time for it. I’ve been struggling, and I can’t help but be baffled at the fact that I didn’t make more time to pray. How did I ever think I could be in this storm and spend the same amount of time with God as I had been? No, no, no, no. If anything I needed more time.
Face it, not making time to pray, makes you easy prey.
Psalm 90:12
Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.
