Your partner writes a Craigslist ad to get rid of an item of yours that they totally hate. What does it say?
Well one of my closest friends would definitely put Vladimir on Craigslist. Vladimir used to be very near and dear and since he shouldn’t be any longer, she would love to change that. It would probably say:
Lovingly used, stuffed animal monkey, formerly named Vladimir. Help me help my friend! Her ex gave it to her, therefore it’s trash for her, and a fine treasure for someone else. He’s actually quite lovely and comfortable.
I want to make sure she does not still have a sentimental connection to it, and I feel that if I rid her of it I would do my job as a friend. This seems to be the only way to make sure there is no connection. It’s only $5.00 for “Vladimir,” due to postage, therefore I’m giving you the monkey for free.
I’m doing this for her good.
She needs this.
