Matthew 5:13
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.”
This means that as a Christian there is supposed to be something different about you. You are supposed to stand out, but in a good way. Because when you add salt to your food, you’re adding it to make it better right? That’s what you’re supposed to do, make lives better.
When you enter a room, the aura of that room is supposed to change just by you entering.
It’s possible because as a Christian, God is supposed to live in you. When you enter a room, God is supposed to be entering that room through you.
So be different from this world. Stand for God. Flavor the world with God’s Holy Spirit dwelling in you. God will begin to change not only you, but those affected by you as well. We affect lives either way; don’t you want it to be for a good reason?
Be salty.
