All I See is Love

Jesus came and suffered for my sins. I’m not even focused on the dying yet, because I’m so overwhelmed by the idea of my Lord choosing to suffer for me. Suffering.

When most of us think of death, we think well I just don’t want to suffer. I just want to die in peace. Right? Yet, Christ came and suffered for me.

And some of us would consider dying for someone we love. But, man, to suffer for them. That’s a different story isn’t it? Yet, Jesus did.

As I read Isaiah 53, all I can see is love. All I can see is everything that Jesus did all because of love. He suffered, all because of love. He gave, all because of love. He died, all because of love. So the question I have is, what am I supposed to do all because of love?

Isaiah 53:11,12

When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish,      he will be satisfied.  And because of his experience,      my righteous servant will make it possible  for many to be counted righteous,      for he will bear all their sins.

I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier,      because he exposed himself to death.  He was counted among the rebels.      He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.
