People can search all they want to find something to take God’s place, but it won’t work. We live in a world of sex addicts, drug addicts, alcoholics, etc. And that’s simply because people are looking for something to fill a void in their life. They want something to numb their pain. They want something to take the sting off, but only God can.
People want to believe in something. We have different religions, political parties, and so much more because want to believe in something. People want to believe in a greater power. People want to believe that there is a group of people out there dedicated to making lives better.
But my thought is, why not just believe in God? God fills voids. God creates change. God is the only necessary belief system. He covers all bases. And no matter how hard any of us try to find another answer to it all, on God is the answer and solution.
“God allow those who are lost to understand that that whole is so big because only You can fill it. A circle peg can’t fit into a square hole any more than anything else can fill a void that only You can fill and only You are meant to fill, Lord. It’s as simple as that.”
