Cheesy

Well, today is my anniversary. It’s time for that special anniversary post. The time of the year that I get really cheesy.

But I have a question, what does that say about our society? What does it mean when we steer away from true love and emotions because its “cheesy”? God blessed me with a great husband. And if how I express gratitude for that is “cheesy” then oh well.

Love isn’t cheesy. God is Love. God isn’t cheesy. And yes, this post is going in a very different direction from the one I had planned.

But what if its a tactic of Satan to get us to believe that expressing love towards one another, is lame. I’m talking about true, godly love. Not I think I love someone, or puppy love. I’m talking about true love for people, true love in marraige.

Because since God is Love, the last thing the enemy would want, is for us to have expressions of who God is, being acted out, and received. Right?

So, be cheesy. Love people God’s way, and express it. Do the last thing the enemy would want you to do. Love God and love His people, and show it.

Love.

1 John 4:7-8 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Romans 12:9-10 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
